To provide emergency support for Indonesian human rights advocate Nazaruddin Abdul Gani to seek temporary refuge in the United States.

To provide international accompaniment for persecuted human rights activists in Colombia and Mexico.

To defend and strengthen protections for human rights and democracy in Latin America.

To provide legal advice and defense to individuals and groups whose rights have been violated; and to promote judicial reform based on comprehensive legal studies and reports in Mexico.

To promote the use of international human rights law standards by local tribunals by educating the public and judicial community and fostering debate in Argentina.

To promote and protect the human rights of Kurdish people living in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey and the former Soviet Union.

To assist a Chechen doctor and human rights monitor’s family in escaping danger and seeking refuge in the United States.
